Latest Update Brings Mods to Nintendo Switch; Now Available on all Modern Consoles including PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
With Totally Accurate Battle Simulator’s recent release bringing in-game mod support to Nintendo Switch, we can officially say that mod.io integration has brought user-generated content to all modern consoles, including PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and all PC stores (GOG.com, Steam, and the Epic Games Store).
mod.io CEO and co-founder Scott Reismanis, who also started ModDB.com in 2002, has been working towards this vision of platform agnostic access to user-generated content for two decades. By offering tools to enable modding in Unreal Engine, Unity, and custom engines, mod.io’s integration into any game on any platform has achieved his goal.
With games like SkaterXL offering mod support on Xbox, Snowrunner on PlayStation, Deeprock Galactic on PC Game Pass, BONELAB in VR, and Weird West across all PC stores, we’ve truly gone cross-platform, and mods are more accessible than ever.
